Decided to do a complete re-install of the OS, opting for Windows 7 Pro, all new up to date drivers, and a better video codec pack. I am happy to report that Full-HD video now runs nice and crisp! Adobe CS6, Vegas, and Avid still make it choke, but it will not freeze-up anymore. Forget gaming on this machine, it'll be a waste of time. Intel graphics are simply awful, no way around it. Sure Toshiba states that it is compatible with Direct X 11 games, but when the framerates, even at the lowest settings are well below 24fps, games become unplayable. I give three stars b/c of the innovative screen format and after some modification it can actually be a fantastic video player.
